Individual molds: You will receive one (1) reusable mold for individual weight purchased (5/10lb, 25lb, 35lb, or 45lb). Only the mold is included in this purchase.

Wire and PVC Kit #1: You will receive six (6) small metal reinforcement rings for the 10/5lb molds, two (2) small 1” PVC sleeves for 10/5lb molds, and four (4) large 2” PVC sleeves for all mold weights. No molds are included in this kit.

Wire and PVC Kit #2: You will receive two (2) medium metal reinforcement rings for the 25lb molds, and two (2) large 2” PVC sleeves for all mold weights. No molds are included in this kit.

Wire and PVC Kit #3: You will receive four (4) large metal reinforcement rings for the 35lb/45 molds, and four (4) large 2” PVC sleeves for all mold weights. No molds are included in this kit.

We recommend high strength or 5000 psi concrete. We don’t recommend using Quick dry concrete because it can lessen the weight. We do recommend using shredded fiberglass and metal reinforcement wire to make it more durable.

The weights can last for years. Coating them with bedliner or flexseal will increase their lifespan. You may use as much reinforcement as you wish. We recommend a minimum of one (1) wire reinforcement ring and .25 ounces of shredded fiberglass per 5lbs. Reinforcement rings may be purchased in our Wire and PVC Kit to make your weights as durable as possible.

Let your weights cure for 48 hours in the mold before removing them. Let cure an additional 24 hours after removing from the mold before using. Paint or seal your weights 28 days after they are made.

Fill the molds to the top and spread evenly to ensure accurate weight amounts. Do NOT use quick dry concrete. Remove air pockets by twisting your mold back and forth after pouring concrete to the top.

Spray the mold with cooking spray prior to pouring the concrete. This will allow for easy removal once it has cured. The molds can be reused multiple times after cleaning with warm, soapy water and a scrub brush.
